LAKE TAHOE REAL ESTATE RESOURCE
What does one of the worst winters on record mean to Lake Tahoe? So far it means a full lake and an early start to the spring real estate selling market! There is a good amount of inventory on the market and more coming on every day. The first quarter market report for the Truckee, Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas is out and can be accessed below. As ski leases finish (typically at the end of April) and summer vacation season begins that is when the summer season in Tahoe usually picks up. Hiking, biking, boating, golfing, live music and more are just around the corner. What are your favorite activities to do in Lake Tahoe in the summer? Have a look at a couple of ideas for things to do around the north shore and view one of my newest listings located right next to Sugarpine Park in Tahoma, CA on the west shore. As always, I hope you find this information informative and or entertaining and don't hesitate to reach out to me anytime. I look forward to hearing from you and look forward to learning about what's happening with you in Tahoe and beyond!

Things to do
SPRING SKIING FUN
Spring skiing is going strong and with more weather in the forecast, the season may still be a ways from being over! Palisades Tahoe has several spring events this month including the Cushing's Crossing this Sunday. Always action packed and sure to be a good time.

Be on the lookout for deals on tickets and next years passes.
NTPUD
NTPUD is ramping up activities and opportunities for recreation in North Lake Tahoe. Check out their website for things happening this spring as well as updated openings for the summer season at the park, boat launch, beaches and more. NTPUD is a great community resource for homeowners and visitors alike to find connection in our area.

Preparing Homes for Wildfire
In many areas, May is Wildfire Awareness Month. As the weather becomes warmer and wildland vegetation begin to dry out, it is time to plan for the wildfires. Spring is a great time to take steps to help protect your home against wildfire. Clean roofs and gutters of dead leaves, debris and pine needles. Replace or repair any loose or missing shingles, roof tiles or siding to prevent ember penetration. Move any flammable material away from wall exterior. Remove anything stored underneath decks or porches. Visit: Firewise.Org for more details.
